IMPACT is an ISPF-based tool that will lead you through the steps necessary to determine the scope and effect of a change to a program or an application.  It will accurately analyzes and report the impact of any change to all related data elements a program, on an application.  It prepares over a dozen reports to detail the use of every data element impacted by the change.  It can handle any number of programs in an application.

IMPACT processes COBOL, PL/1, or Assembler, and can scan any other language running on the MVS platform.  It tracks each impact element throughout the maze of data transfers, input/output operations, copy members, screen maps, and more.
